Tekken 8 basic combo theory
In Tekken 8, combos can be divided by three section, which is “launching, “juggling/tornado”, and “finishing”.
If you find Tekken combos challenging, breaking them down into these three parts can make them easier to learn and practice each section separately!
Yoshimitsu launchers you need to know
- Basic uppercut (3RP)
- Knee Cap: Counter hit ( While crouching 3RK)
- Flash(LP+RK)
- Flash in Mutou no Kiwami or Heat state(LP+RK)
- Spinning Cleave(During Mutou no Kiwami while crouching 3LK)
While Yoshimitsu has more launchers, these five are the most useful in various situations.
Yoshimitsu basic juggling
Yoshimitsu juggling is quite simple.
2RPRP4-3LPRPLP(Tornado)
Adding the 4 input can be tricky at first, but it’s important for transitioning into Mutou no Kiwami (no-sword stance).

Yoshimitsu has only two finishers.
